All classes are carefully taught by experienced instructors in small groups. Elderly people, those who are not confident in their physical strength, and those who cannot swim can also take a leisurely lesson. The trick to mastering diving is to study at your own pace. At Lei Aloha, we aim to provide a course that complies with you busy schedule. If you have any requests regarding the course, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Issuance of a PADI Gold Certification Card
Divers who complete a certification with a PADI 5 Star Dive Center or Resort automatically receive a gold card instead of the standard blue card.
Complimentary Rental Gear
All equipment (necessary for diving) used during the course is included in the course fee.
*3,300 yen per day for drysuit rental applicable.

After consulting with the instructor, decide on your course schedule. First of all, there will be a confined water portion (e.g. in a pool), and then the final open water portion.
Courses can be completed at your own pace via e-learning.
Many PADI courses consist of knowledge development (theoretical training) and underwater practical training, but with PADI eLearning, the "knowledge development (theoretical training)" part can be completed on a computer/tablet/smartphone.
With a smartphone, you can install the PADI Training app (Google Play / App Store) and download the learning materials to proceed with your learning even in an offline environment.
This is ideal if you are too busy to go to the shop or want to take your time with the knowledge development part. You can study at your own pace without having to worry about other participants.

To schedule your course...
After consulting with the instructor, decide on your course schedule.
First of all, there will be a confined water portion (e.g. in a pool), and then the final open water portion.

① Knowledge Development (Independent Study)
Please proceed with your self-learning at home. During the class we will go over every single knowledge review question. After confirming the preliminary study, a 50-question academic test will be conducted.
② Confined Water Dives (1 Day)
From how to wear diving fins to dealing with water entering our masks underwater, we will spend a full day conducting confined water training in shallow waters or in a diving pool. You will also learn to achieve the state of neutral buoyancy underwater.
③ Open Water Dives (2 Days)
You will be able to practice the techniques you learned in the confined water training under actual diving conditions. In addition to demonstrating your skills underwater, you will also be taught how to swim and move effortlessly underwater while being surrounded by sea creatures.

You can learn the necessary knowledge and skills as a PADI Open Water Diver in an easy-to-understand manner with videos. Use in conjunction with the Open Water Diver's Manual for a deeper understanding.
Dive Planning Slate
A slate that allows you to check for yourself if you are satisfied with the skills you need to enjoy diving. If you feel that you need more practice and check it, practice hard until you can do that skill. Practicing until you can confidently say "I did it" will greatly improve the safety and comfort of your dive. In addition, the "PADI Dive Planning Slate" summarizes the items to be checked when making a diving plan with a buddy.
Recreational Dive Planner
A Recreational Dive Planner (RDP) is essential for planning a safe dive. The table type can be taken underwater by attaching it to a BCD.
Logbook
A training record that records how far you have learned and acquired skills and knowledge. You can accurately grasp to what level you have learned knowledge and skills, and you can receive the optimal service according to it on any sea.
Waterproof Bag
A useful case for carrying all the materials for the PADI Open Water Diver Course. The opening is Velcro, making it easy to carry. It is also useful as an accessory case when diving.
