PADI Open Water Diver Course
For Senior Citizens
Available every day starting from 1 person!
All classes are carefully taught by experienced instructors in small groups. Elderly people, those who are not confident in their physical strength, and those who cannot swim can also take a leisurely lesson. The trick to mastering diving is to study at your own pace. Issuance of a PADI Gold Certification Card
Divers who complete a certification with a PADI 5 Star Dive Center or Resort automatically receive a gold card instead of the standard blue card.
Complimentary Rental Gear
All equipment (necessary for diving) used during the course is included in the course fee.
*3,300 yen per day for drysuit rental applicable.

To schedule your course...
After consulting with the instructor, decide on your course schedule.
First of all, there will be a confined water portion (e.g. in a pool), and then the final open water portion.

① Knowledge Development (Independent Study)
Please proceed with your self-learning at home. During the class we will go over every single knowledge review question. After confirming the preliminary study, a 50-question academic test will be conducted.
② Confined Water Dives (1 Day)
（In a Diving Pool）
From how to wear diving fins to dealing with water entering our masks underwater, we will spend a full day conducting confined water training in shallow waters or in a diving pool. You will also learn to achieve the state of neutral buoyancy underwater.
③ Open Water Dives (2 Days)
（4 Dives in Total）
You will be able to practice the techniques you learned in the confined water training under actual diving conditions. In addition to demonstrating your skills underwater, you will also be taught how to swim and move effortlessly underwater while being surrounded by sea creatures.
After earning your certification...
When you become a PADI diver, you join the largest community in the world for ocean change.
A scuba diving certification or ‘Open Water Diver certification’ allows you to dive anywhere in the world. Similar to driving a car, scuba diving requires specific knowledge, skills and training. A PADI Open Water Diver certification is your passport to underwater adventure.

・Cancellation Fee: 50% the day before and 100% on the day.
・Guests who failed to notify staff of cancellation will be charged 100% course fee.
